Growing
Well, a baby is certainly on the way. We are excited and feel blessed to be awaiting the little guy's arrival. Thanks for the patience with the long stretches of time between posts. We will post our Christmas pictures and snow pictures soon. At least before the baby comes in March. Just kidding. I hope.
The stockings were hung......
Every Santa needs a reindeer. Sorry Giggs.
Landon loved decorating his tree this year. He unwrapped each ornament like it was a special present. It brought back lots of memories of when my brothers and I used to do the same thing. We got the house ready for the big day and even bought special cereal at the grocery store as a treat(mostly for mommy and daddy ) to enjoy the holiday. I think we have started a new tradition. It was too funny to hear Landon yell out each morning that he wanted to eat "Chucky Arms" for breakfast. In case you aren't sure they were Lucky Charms.
Cutting Down the Tree
Mommy, Landon, and brother on the way.
Helping Daddy. Notice decorations in his hands. Christmas card picture.
Grammie and Pop Pop.
TIMBER
That's right, time to cut down the Christmas tree. We headed up to our favorite Snowy Peaks Farm to cut down our tree. Landon mostly played in the dirt and decorated the trees with debris he found on the ground. We also took our annual Christmas card picture which I annually never send out because I run out of time. So you can see it on the blog.
LA Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving in LA
We had a great time in LA at Thanksgiving with Aunt Sheri and Uncle Tim. Landon loved getting to spend time with them and going to the beach. We ate great food at the Walsh house and then enjoyed some Karaoke. Landon loved singing with the microphone and playing his guitar. He was good entertainment.

Fog Willow Pumpkin Patch
The pumpkin patch was a great adventure. Landon loved petting the goats, riding in the wagon, and climbing the huge hay stack with Daddy. My favorite was when he kept trying to pick up the huge pumpkins. He was so determined. Sorry for anyone who took their pumpkin home and later discovered a large bruise. Two year olds are ambitious little guys.
Oh Boy
1. Landon and Jack getting books to read. (aka pulling out every book on the shelf and laughing hysterically).
2 and 3. Landon's "helmet" that he insists on wearing when he plays baseball. It is really the bucket for his bath toys. The best part is he makes Curtis and me wear it when we play too. Our neighbors have gotten some good laughs when the game goes outdoors.
4. Watching soccer like Daddy.
5. I went to find Landon since he was so quiet one day and discovered him reading in his chair. He just sat their reading his books. It was too cute not to capture.
Big Boy Bed
The day finally came when my baby slept for the last time in his crib. I took pictures to remember his last time sleeping in the nursery. He moved to his big boy room with its very own race car bed later that day. Landon loves his bed and is a great little sleeper still. His bed was made by my dad and grandfather for my two younger brothers. I have many memories as a kid pretending to drive and playing in the toy chest under the hood. Curtis and my dad put the bed together for Landon and he has started creating his own memories. He loves the steering wheel and jumping off the back foil onto the bed. Sweet dreams my sweet son.
Sacramento Capital Air Show
Landon and Curtis could not wait for the air show to come to town. They were thrilled when we heard the first fighter fly over our neighborhood. Landon loved driving the "big truck" and getting to sit in the helicopter. Jack and Patrick joined us later on in the day. Just in time for the F22 Raptor to take flight. The planes are incredible and so is the noise. If you look at the picture of Landon you can see his ear plugs. Landon and Jack enjoyed making their toy planes fly through the air and covering them with dirt. It is definitely a good outing for boys of all ages.
